How it works

Camera sees. Microphone confirms. You edit.

  1. Capture

    Frame the neck and your fretting hand. The camera tracks fingertips on a calibrated fretboard. Optional LiDAR adds contact evidence.

  2. Understand

    Fingertips become strings and frets. The microphone confirms which notes actually rang and silences the rest.

  3. Edit and export

    You get an editable timeline with TAB, chords, key, and tempo. Uncertain notes are marked, not hidden. Share as TAB, MIDI, audio, or video.

Honest limits

  • Accuracy on real guitars is still being validated. Lighting and framing matter.
  • Some notes stay marked as estimates. You can edit them.
  • You choose the tuning from presets. Alternate tunings are not detected.
  • Hammer-ons, slides, and bends are not classified yet.

Move, and the grid moves with you.

Three small printed markers keep the fretboard grid locked to a moving guitar. The app prints them at true size. No markers? Keep the guitar still and it works anyway.

Where to place the markers, animated Markers stick onto the headstock and onto the body above and below the neck. A grid then locks onto the fretboard, and the guitar tilts while the grid stays aligned. Grid locked to markers 1 2 3

  • Starter drills. C major, A minor pentatonic, steady Em downstrokes. 40 to 120 BPM.
  • Three views. Floating fretboard over the camera, cues projected on your neck, or a scrolling lane.
  • Live feedback. A Heard readout, a check for each match, and accuracy from pitch and timing.
  • Readable. VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, Reduce Motion, and Reduce Transparency are honoured.
